Hello – … This is too big a question for me to answer here, as it would require too much time for me to do it justice. I can however share with you the following web site which pertains to explaining Naturopathic Medicine. Naturopathic Medicine is the well recognised professional form of natural medicine available today which in fact incorporates most all forms of natural healing into it’s practice. Perhaps the information on this site will help to answer your question:

This is a potentially massive question requiring an extremely long answer! How about getting a general book on alternative/complementary therapies and then homing-in on the ones that particularly interest you. Good text books will also provide information about the sorts of conditions that can be helped.
In your public library you will probably find lots of books about acupuncture, homeopathy, hypnotherapy, iridology, reflexology, aromatherapy and numerous others.
A great book to start with is the second edition of How To UnBreak Your Health which came out June 2010. It features 339 listings in 150 different categories. Whether you’re searching for better health or simply a healthier life path this is your map to the world of complementary and alternative therapies.
